Achille Simonetti

Sculptor : Simonetti, Achille (1838-1900) 

Background : Achille Simonetti was born in  Rome, Italy to sculptor Louis Simonette and his wife Rosina. In 1871 he migrated to Brisbane, Australia and then later moved to Sydney.

Notes of Interest : Simonetti became close friends with Sie Saul Samuels and made a good living modeling busts of the social elite.
