Description : The Bolt sculpture is a gigantic green/yellow painted steel structure that not only looks as though it has struck the earth with incredible force but has also pierced the corner wall of the University of Tasmania. 

Date unveiled : February, 2007.

Location: The Bolt sculpture can be found near the entrance to the University of Tasmania, Launceston, Australia.

This sculpture was comissioned by the School of Visual and Performing Arts, University of Tasmania to mark the city of Launceston's 2006 'It's About Us' celebrations.
