Location : The Cow Shed cow is temporarily located outside the Margarets Beach Resort 1 Resort Place (cnr Wallcliffe Road) Gnarabup Beach, Margaret River Western Australia. It also, for a short time, resided on a pontoon in the Indian Ocean after pranksters had a little fun.

Artist Statement : A fun play on the name and lending itself to the opportunity to scour junk yards for interesting 'bits' to add to the 'shed'.

Controversy : What would be a CowParade without a prankster making off with one of the bovines? In early April, under the cover of darkness, someone, armed with a spanner, unbolted the 45kg cow, transported it to Gnarabup Beach (just down the road) where it was floated across to the pontoon located out in the Indian Ocean. Bill Ivory was the first to discover the bouyant bovine “We had headed down at 6.30am to remove the pontoon and blow me down there was a cow on it,” Hmm, surf n turf!
