Public Art: Roundabout sculpture

Description: The steel sculpture features two curved arrows. One arrow pierces the ground giving the impression that the circle continues underground. 

Date unveiled: The Roundabout sculpture was purchased in 2007 by the Town of Cottesloe.

Location: The Roundabout is located at the south end of Marine Parade in Cottesloe, Western Australia.

Things You May Not Know:

Sculpture by the Sea is an annual event which sees over 70 artists from all over the world transforming beaches in Bondi (Sydney), Cottesloe (Western Australia) and Aarhus (Denmark) with their works of art. The brain child behind the concept was David Handley who wanted the public to have free access to a major public art event.

Sculpture By The Sea - Cottesloe has been one of Perth's feature annual events since 2005.

The North Cottesloe Primary School hold the annual "Sculpture by the School" having been inspire by the success of Sculpture by the Sea.
