Interesting Tidbits : According to the Noongar
culture the Waugal is a snakelike dreamtime creature responsible for the creation of the rivers and other waterways
and landforms around present day Perth and the south-west of Western Australia.
Artist Statement : Sacred Waugal of our
beloved tribal lands, borrowing and enveloping 'cows' image to keep our traditions alive, helping to make our
ongoing presence felt.
