Description: The contemporary bronze statue of war hero and surgeon Weary Dunlop . The sculpture includes metal spikes which were used in the building of the Burna -Thailand railway

Date Unveiled: The then Victorian Premier, Jeff Kennett unveiled the memorial to Weary on the 15th August, 1995.

Funded: The money raised for the memorial to one of Australia's 'national treasures' was through the Weary Dunlop Statue Appeal.
