Background : Sir Thomas Brock was born in Worcester,
England.
Notes of Interest : Sir Thomas Brock was a pupil of
sculptor John Henry Foley. His most famous work is the Queen Victoria
Memorial which stands outside Buckingham palace. According to legend, at the unveiling of memorial in
1911, George V was so moved by Brock's work he called for a sword and knighted Brock on the spot.
