Description: The Trunk Toward The Unknown is a towering 10m tall abstract work that depicts an elephant trunk with a bright red balloon attached to it by a string. When the wind blows it looks like an elephant trunk trying to reach for an apple.

Date Unveiled: The Trunk sculpture was installed in April, 2012 for a limited time and was removed on the 13th of may, 2012, much to the displeasure of regulars in the park.

Location: Trunk Toward the Unknown was installed at Zou no Hana Koen (Elephant's Trunk Park) in Yokohama, Japan.
